The Walnut Creek City Council approved a revised Zoning Ordinance and amended Use Classifications Ordinance for the Shadelands Business Park which paves the way for our Shadelands SportsMall and Plum Healthcare Skilled Nursing facility approvals. The major amendments included were:

• Skilled Nursing facilities that have a stay of 30 days or less but no more than 100 days are now permitted (rather than prohibited) with a CUP.
• Language was added to allow the Design Review Commission to waive increased setbacks for building heights in excess of 20′.
