Hall Equities Group is pleased to announce that the redevelopment of Fillmore Marketplace in Colorado Springs, Colorado is in the final stages. Originally purchased in 2013 as a tired Kmart anchored center with a less than desirable tenant mix in the balance of the center, Kmart subsequently closed after a few years and opened the door for redevelopment of the property. Leases were signed with two quality tenants, Vasa Fitness and Roadhouse Cinema/Railyard Gaming & Gastropub, in 2018 and both tenants opened to the public in 2019. The focus on health, entertainment and dining kicked off a new era for Fillmore Marketplace attracting many new visitors to the site. Proving to be a true destination center, additional leasing was completed in 2021 with the addition of Jersey Mike’s, Beaches Tanning Salon, Fast Fit Foods and Supplement Giant. In addition to the retail progress, Hall Equities Group affiliate ZAC Holdings is constructing a new Home2Suites by Hilton in the center with an anticipated opening in December 2022. The center will welcome Dunkin Donuts to the mix in 2023.
