Hall Equities Group is pleased to announce it has acquired two apartment communities near downtown Walnut Creek. The Alterra Apartments, located at 1200 Alpine Road, is a 57-unit community that sits on a prominent hill behind the downtown CVS pharmacy. Within walking distance to downtown nightlife, shopping and dining, the Alterra features a central courtyard and views of Mt. Diablo from terraces above downtown. The property is currently undergoing fit-n-finish upgrades to each unit that include new countertops, and flooring, state of the art appliances, fresh cabinetry and designer paint.

Hall also purchased the 24-unit Sandpiper Apartments, located near the intersection of Saranap Avenue and Boulevard Way. This purchase is part of an assemblage of parcels for a potential new mixed-use commercial district Hall calls “Saranap Village.” Featuring village shop retail, including a fresh produce market, meat and fish market, a bakery, a family-style café/restaurant and other neighborhood retail uses, the community project would include architecturally-appealing apartments above the retail businesses. The multi-building development would be clustered around a rebuilt streetscape at the corner of Saranap Ave. and Boulevard Way.
