A 30 acre functionally obsolete research and development campus was originally purchased from Dow Chemical Company. The project has consisted of the demolition of certain buildings, replacement of all site utilities, and the renovation of 85,000 sq. ft. of life science laboratories and office space for use by the National Joint Genome Institute; the construction of a 163,000 sq. ft. self-storage facility; and the construction of a 50,000 sq. ft. building housing the headquarters of Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation. 51,000 sq. ft. of approved buildings remain to be built.
