Tom P. Z. Miller graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, and then subsequently earned his Construction Management Certificate from San Jose State University. He also earned his General Contractor’s License with the State of California.

Mr. Miller started his career managing multi-million dollar accounts as Business Development Manager for Nabisco Foods, West Region. Mr. Miller took that knowledge and transferred into the construction field where he worked for major General Contractors in the San Francisco Bay Area. In the general contracting role he was responsible for high profile projects such as Toyota-USA, Wells Fargo Bank and PeopleSoft. He has been responsible for the construction of approximately one million square feet of commercial space. Within this capacity Mr. Miller was responsible for all the aspects of the construction process from site selection, design recommendation and budget generation to securing and managing the entire construction process.

As Director of Design and Construction, Mr. Miller is responsible for overseeing the firm's design and construction activities which include architect and consultant selection, site and building layout and design, and all aspects of overall construction from bidding to close-out.
